Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang says the way Musk&#8217;s brain works makes him capable of accomplishing &#8220;unique&#8221; feats.<\/p>\n<p>Musk plays a pivotal role in at least five companies and is building tech from\u00a0<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/optimus-tesla-humanoid-robot-elon-musk-growth-plans-2025-9?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:robots;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-rapid_p=\"11\" data-v9y=\"1\">robots<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/tesla-robotaxi-experience-human-intervention-incidents-2025-7?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:self-driving cars;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-rapid_p=\"12\" data-v9y=\"1\">self-driving cars<\/a>\u00a0to\u00a0<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/grok-bad-rudi-ani-levels-ai-companion-xai-elon-musk-2025-7?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:AI companions;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-rapid_p=\"13\" data-v9y=\"1\">AI companions<\/a>. On top of all that, he&#8217;s also building Colossus II, which\u00a0<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1968328088410087617\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:he said;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-rapid_p=\"14\" data-v9y=\"1\">he said<\/a>\u00a0was &#8220;the world&#8217;s first Gigawatt AI training cluster.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On the &#8220;<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?t=&amp;v=pE6sw_E9Gh0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:BG2 podcast;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-rapid_p=\"15\" data-v9y=\"1\">BG2 podcast<\/a>,&#8221; Huang said that Musk kept scores of information within his head \u2014 making him similar to one of Nvidia&#8217;s chips.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These AI supercomputers are complicated things,&#8221; Huang said. &#8220;The technology is complicated. Procuring it is complicated because of financing issues. Securing the land power and shell, powering it is complicated.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Huang said that it was &#8220;unquestionably the most complex systems problem humanity has ever endeavored.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As Musk aims to solve that &#8220;systems problem,&#8221; Huang said that Musk had one thing going for him: &#8220;All of these systems are interoperating and the interdependencies reside in one head, including the financing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The podcast&#8217;s hosts compared Musk to a &#8220;big GPT&#8221; or a supercomputer, to which Huang said, &#8220;He&#8217;s the ultimate GPU.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He has a great sense of urgency,&#8221; Huang said. &#8220;He has a real desire to to build it, and so when will comes together with skill, unbelievable things can happen. Quite unique.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Musk is building xAI&#8217;s Colossus II data center outside of Memphis, Tennessee. He has already spent at least $400 million on the world&#8217;s largest supercomputer, per documents reviewed by\u00a0<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/elon-musk-xai-data-center-colossus-power-memphis-2025-4?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:Business Insider;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-rapid_p=\"16\" data-v9y=\"1\">Business Insider<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Huang has good reason to praise the Tesla CEO\u00a0\u2014 Musk&#8217;s companies are major Nvidia customers, after all. The Colossus II comprises at least 200,000 Nvidia GPUs. The supercomputer aims to expand to at least\u00a0<a class=\"link rapid-noclick-resp\" href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/xai-memphis-supercomputer-gpus-2024-12?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=yahoo.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-ylk=\"slk:1 million GPUs;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-rapid_p=\"17\" data-v9y=\"1\">1 million GPUs<\/a>. That being said, Nvidia&#8217;s chips have quickly become a hot commodity, with the company supplying much of computing systems in Big Tech&#8217;s AI race.
