Samsung is bringing the Galaxy S25 Ultra with\u00a0a redesigned body<\/a>, thinner bezels and possibly\u00a0support for satellite connectivity<\/a>. We also heard it will be exclusively powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, skyping the Exynos version and while this latest leak doesn’t really confirm that it shows the kind of performance we can expect.<\/p>\n

A Galaxy S25 Ultra unit was benchmarked on Geekbench, giving us its first CPU rating and telling us more about the chipset.<\/p>\n

The listing revealed the CPU will have 2 cores clocked at 4.2 GHz and 6 more running at up to 2.9 GHz, which is a major upgrade over the predecessor.<\/p>\n

The single-core and multi-core results are around\u00a030% higher than they were<\/a>\u00a0on the Qualcomm-powered\u00a0Galaxy S24 Ultra<\/a>. We also receive a confirmation of the new architecture (2+6), previously seen in an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 version with\u00a0questionable results<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The SM-938U model number reveals this version will be sold in the United States. The\u00a0Galaxy S25 Ultra<\/a>\u00a0is listed with Android 15 and 12 GB RAM, which were to be expected, although we might also see\u00a016 GB versions<\/a>.<\/p>\n
