The new group will be organized under current Chief Product Officer Chris Cox.<\/p>\n<p>Zuckerberg said that the team would build \u201ccreative and expressive\u201d tools to be used inside Meta\u2019s products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re exploring experiences with text (like chat in WhatsApp and Messenger), with images (like creative Instagram filters and ad formats), and with video and multi-modal experiences,\u201d Zuckerberg said. \u201cWe have a lot of foundational work to do before getting to the really futuristic experiences, but I\u2019m excited about all of the new things we\u2019ll build along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For example, large language models created by OpenAI have been integrated into a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.microsoft.com\/blog\/2023\/02\/22\/the-new-bing-preview-experience-arrives-on-bing-and-edge-mobile-apps-introducing-bing-now-in-skype\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Microsoft Bing chatbot<\/a>\u00a0as well as a separate chatbot called ChatGPT.\u00a0<span id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-4\" class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/quotes\/GOOG\/\">Google<\/a><span id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\"><\/button><\/span><\/span>\u00a0is also working on a chatbot\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/02\/06\/google-announces-bard-ai-in-response-to-chatgpt.html\">named Bard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Snap announced that it would integrate a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/02\/27\/snap-launches-ai-chatbot-powered-by-openais-gpt.html\">ChatGPT bot into its Snapchat app<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Last week, Meta announced its own new large language model\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2023\/02\/24\/mark-zuckerberg-announces-meta-llama-large-language-model.html\">called LLaMA<\/a>.
